Shortly after Governor Sununu’s address on Thursday, March 26, 2020, the NH Department of Insurance issued the following statement:
“Today Governor Chris Sununu announced a “Stay-at-Home” Order for New Hampshire directing all non-essential businesses that have not already closed to end in-person and public interactions by 11:59 PM tomorrow, March 27, 2020. This Order will remain in effect until May 4, 2020. Under the Order, the insurance industry is considered essential and those businesses should remain open during this time.
The Department encourages insurance industry licensees to continue to follow prudent business practices, while also extending flexibility to their employees by allowing them to work from home.”
As communicated in a statement to all of NEEBCo’s customers on Monday, March 16, and per the Governor’s address, NEEBCo will indeed remain open and will continue to remain vigilant in attending to all of your organization’s employee benefits needs but will be doing so by remote interface. Face to face meetings are not permitted at this time but your representatives both service and sales are readily available through email, voice mail and/or cell. We are here to continue to serve the needs of your organization and the needs of your employees during these most unprecedented times. Thank you for your support and your business – it is held with highest regard with all of us here at NEEBCo.
