Essential benefits could vary from state to state

Controversy surrounding "essential benefits" continues to stir up questions and apprehension as a result of HHS allowing state officials to choose their template for benefits. According the HHS Secretary, Kathleen Sebelius, "states will have the option to pick their own standard from among the most typical, popular and proven employer plans in each state." This will result in plans and benefits that could vary state to state.
