Five year Medicaid contract deal under consideration

In what will be the biggest Medicaid contract in New Hampshire state history, HHS is considering a deal that will create and run a managed care system for Medicaid. It is expected that the state will reduce the proposals down to 3 by mid February and start negotiations at that time. Also reported in the January 3, 2012 NAHU Newswire is a story that millions will remain uninsured after the Health Law takes effect in 2014. Reasons vary from, income, insurance costs, employment, legal status and personal choice.
