Expansion of vaccine to boys age 11-21

CDC Recommends Boys Be Vaccinated Against HPV

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommend expanding immunization practices to include boys ages 11-21 for HPV. Prior to this announcement, it was suggested that girls receive this vaccine. Current statistics show that fewer than half of girls between 13 and 17 have received at least one dose of the 3 dose series of the HPV vaccine.
