HHS Releases Summary of Coverage Documents

Document is almost 5 months late in being released

The summary of coverage document mandated as part of healthcare reform was just released by HHS and is now open for public opinion. Another story of interest pertains to the Federal Exchange. When HHS released its first regulations guiding states on forming their health benefit exchanges, there were no specifics on how the federal fallback exchange would work. While HHS has unlimited funding to help states create their own exchanges, PPACA failed to provide funding to develop an infrastructure for a federal exchange.
