Rules for Comparing Insurance Plans Proposed

Goal is to make it easier for consumers to shop insurance and compare plans

New rules were proposed Wednesday requiring insurance companies and employers to provide coverage and costs in plain English. New forms will have a section that will answer questions such as "What is the premium" and "What is the deductible?" Additionally, further cost breakdowns such as how much various services will cost have been added as a result of healthcare reform.
