11th Circuit Court Rules in Health Care Reform Lawsuit

Rules that the individual mandate is unconstitutional

The US Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit has ruled that the individual mandate under healthcare reform is unconstitutional. The three-judge panel rejected the government's assertion that the unique features of the healthcare market justified the mandate. This is the first time a judge appointed by a Democrat said part of the law is unconstitutional.
