Senate voted to repeal the 1099 reporting requirement included in the healthcare reform bill

In a vote of 87-12, the Senate voted to send the House's 1099 repeal bill to the President without any changes. The 1099 reporting feature of the healthcare reform bill placed an extensive burden on small businesses. It is reported that the President is eager to sign this bill.
