As of late February, over 150,000 seniors have taken advantage of the new annual wellness visits covered under Medicare as a result of healthcare reform. HHS Secretary Sebelius says it is a key element in the healthcare law. An unnamed administration official stresses that there are cost savings from early disease detection.
