HHS Unveils Preliminary Format for Rate Increase Notices

Companies would have to post electronically for rate increases ten percent or greater

Monday, HHS unveiled requirements for rate increases to help prevent "unreasonable" rate hikes. Responsibility for reviewing requests will, in large part, be the responsibility of the states. It is believed that people have been left in the dark about rate increase requests and this will provide transparency.
