House Debates Repeal of Healthcare Reform Today

Uncertain if Senate Majority Leader will bring it up for a vote in the Senate

When the House opens for business today, Healthcare reform will be front and center. While it is expected that it will be repealed in the House, it is doubtful that the Senate will even introduce the legislation to repeal it.

Six more states have said they will join a lawsuit in Florida that challenges the constitutionality of the healthcare law. The six states requesting the right to join the lawsuit are: Iowa, Ohio, Kansas, Wyoming, Wisconsin, and Maine bringing the total number of states to twenty-six. Meanwhile, U.S. District Judge Roger Vinson, may rule this week on whether the law's requirement to purchase health insurance is unconstitutional.
