President Expected to Sign Medicare Reimbursement Freeze

Congress gave final approval Thursday

Congress approved a bill on Thursday that would delay the twenty-five percent decrease in Medicare reimbursements for another year. The President is expected to sign the legislation. In the balance was physicians limiting number of Medicare patients if payments were cut under the statutory formula established by Congress. The President says it is time for a permanent solution.
