Senator John Cornyn is urging legislation that would require public comments on new healthcare reform regulations. Out of the 12 reform final rules, 10 were released in the form of "interim final rules" which do not include public input. Of the other two, HHS only sought public input on one. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce issued a statement saying it's "improper" for HHS to make sweeping changes with public input.
