Low-Cost Student Health Plans

Plans may not meet the criteria set forth in the Health Care Reform Legislation

Colleges and universities have sent a letter to Secretary Sebelius requesting an exception so they can continue offering them. These low-cost plans typically have limited benefits. Critics claim these student plans should be held to the same standard as other health plans. No response has been released yet.
