House Still Looking For Votes to Pass Health Care Bill

March 15, 2010

President postponed trip to Asia to work on passage

It is still uncertain if there are enough votes in the House to pass the Senate reconciliation version of health care reform. White House Spokesman, David Axelrod is quoted as saying: "I am absolutely confident that we are going to be successful." Even with the majority of public opinion still against the reform as written, legislators are willing to pass the bill with the "fix it later" mentality.

A vote may take place this week if House and Senate leaders get their way. Now is the time to voice your opinion on health care reform.
