-Name change became effective January 4, 2010

Formerly known as Fort Dearborn Life Insurance Company, Dearborn National will begin an aggressive marketing campaign in national and regional markets. Anthony F. Trani, President commented on the change " Still, as a group of insurance companies marketing under separate brand names, research indicates our names lacked brand equity in the marketplace."
