Urges Congress to pass healthcare reform

Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has voiced confidence she has the 218 votes necessary to pass the House's version of healthcare reform. Setting a weekend deadline for passing the bill, some say it is a risk that could backfire. Thousands protested the House Democrats' healthcare bill at the Capitol yesterday describing it as runaway government spending. Massachusetts Governor, Duval Patrick met with HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius Wednesday to voice his concerns that federal health reform will not harm the Massachusetts system.
