It's in, Baucus Bill: $829 Billion Over Ten Years

CBO analysis finds it would reduce deficit by $81 billion over decade

While Senator Baucus finds this quite promising, Senator Mitch McDonnell (R-KY) doesn't think the Senate Finance Committee proposal will make it to the senate floor. It is rumored that the real bill is being written behind closed doors with no public access. Baucus is speaking with members of his committee and other congressional panels to decide on a timeline for a vote, which will probably be next week.

States will need to increase revenues if Medicaid is expanded. In an effort to reduce the federal costs of healthcare reform, House Democrats are considering expanding Medicare to uninsured adults.
