Senate Finance Committee pushing through markup version of bill
The Senate Finance Committee is continuing the markup of Senator Baucus' version of the healthcare reform bill. He had hoped to complete he markup by the end of this week but the number of amendments filed against the bill may push it into next week. Senators Schumer and Rockefeller both state the final version will have a public option.
