One Time Economic Recovery Payment

Eligible individuals should receive one-time payment by end of May 2009
President Obama recently signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. This act provides for the one-time payment of $250 to individuals who receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or Social Security benefits.
No action is required form individuals receiving Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or Social Security benefits. Information on eligibility and benefit amount can be found in this Social Security document or by visiting www.socialsecurity.gov .
