Anthem and LRGH Healthcare Physicians Contract Expires

Lakes Region General Hospital and Franklin Regional Hospital remain in Anthem provider network.

LRGH Healthcare and Anthem failed to come to a contract renewal agreement prior to the contract expiration. As a result, members receiving covered services between April 16, 2008 and July 29, 2008 will be processed as in-network as provided by NH Law. Effective July 30, 2008, HMO members will be responsible for services performed by LRGH Healthcare as they will be considered out of network and Anthem's HMO policy does not cover out of network services. PPO and POS members will be paid directly for covered services provided by LRGH Healthcare but at the out of network rate.

Anthem will start notifying members April 21 with information on what they need to do to maintain in-network provider coverage.
